Cliffs of Moher

Located in County Clare, the Cliffs of Moher stretch about eight miles along the western coast of the Atlantic Ocean. At the highest point, the rugged cliffs reach about 700 feet high. Adult admission to the site costs about $7.

Ring of Gullion

The Ring of Gullion is a geological rock formation in Northern Ireland. The volcanic landscape dates back more than 60 million years. The natural wonder was designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Croagh Patrick

An important pilgrimage site, Croagh Patrick is a sacred mountain in County Mayo. Saint Patrick was said to have completed a Lenten ritual of penance on the mountain. Towering more than 2,500 feet, visitors can climb the mountain trails.

The Burren

Burren National Park is home to The Burren, translating to “a rocky place.” The area consists of stone formations, Irish flora and fauna and underground rivers. The park is open year-round and admission is free.

Giants Causeway

Located in Northern Ireland, Giants Causeway gets its name from the rock formations that resemble large stepping stones. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the interlocking columns and stones were formed from an ancient volcanic eruption. Entrance costs about $10.
