Don’t spoil your romantic honeymoon by forgetting to pack something important. Before you head out after your I Dos, make sure you have these often-overlooked necessities.
1. Sunscreen
Sunburns don’t just happen on beaches and the last thing you want on your honeymoon is a red, peeling skin. Even if you aren’t headed to the tropics, pack your sunblock and use it every day.
2. Advil
Travel can cause all sorts of pains, from airplane headaches to sore feet after a day of walking. Pack a small bottle of painkillers and you won’t find yourself missing a day of fun due to unexpected aches.
3. Comfortable shoes
It’s easy to remember cute sandals and flip flops, but what if you’re planning to go sightseeing? Your time playing tourist will be a lot more fun if your feet are cushioned by a good pair of walking shoes.
4. Bathing suit
You never know when the chance to take a dip in the hotel’s hot tub or a nearby lake will come up. Even if you’re not planning to go to the beach, pack a swimsuit, just in case.
5. Razor
If prickly skin makes you self-conscious, be sure to bring a razor. That way, you won’t miss out on cuddle time with your sweetie.
6. Small evening bag
No one wants to haul a huge purse or backpack along on date night. If you’ve planned a romantic dinner or two, pack a small clutch for those evenings.
7. Camera charger
Whether your take photos with a DSLR or your phone, you want to capture every moment of your honeymoon. To make sure you can keep snapping away, don’t forget to pack any chargers you will need.
8. Pretty lingerie
