Just before the holiday shopping season came to a close, I was chatting with a coworker about harmful ingredients in everyday products. We discussed household cleaners, and then got on the subject of cosmetics. My coworker — a vegan, a marathon runner and a very health-conscious person all around — told me she uses cosmetic products from 100 Percent Pure.
She highly recommended the brand, so I ordered a bundle of items to try as a Christmas gift to myself. After trying several products from 100 Percent Pure, I can personally recommend the brand to others. The makeup is lightweight, smells great and, best of all, is good for your skin. 100 Percent Pure uses fruit and other natural ingredients as pigment for their makeup, and all of their products are vegan.
The healthy flawless skin foundation powder with SPF 15 in peach bisque gave my face a matte finish and keeps my makeup in place all day long. It doesn’t feel heavy, either — in fact, nothing that I used from the brand felt heavy or caked on, and it is easy to forget I’m wearing makeup at all while using these products.
I also love the black tea long last liquid eyeliner. It stays perfectly in place on my eyelids from morning to night; no smudging, smearing or fading. The creamy long last liner pencil is the perfect complement to the liquid liner, and both feel weightless and don’t irritate my eyes.
Two of my other favorites that I will definitely be purchasing again are the luminous primer and the lysine and herbs lip balm. The primer is gentle and effective on my sensitive skin, and the lip balm is cooling, healing and lovely. I was happy with the brand overall and will be making an investment with them again soon.
