Philadelphia Auto Show: Feb. 2–10
The Pennsylvania Convention Center hosts every car lover’s dream each winter. Visitors will find more than 700 vehicles in multiple stages of production, including classic cars.
PHS Philadelphia Flower Show: March 2–10
In honor of the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, the Flower Show’s theme this year is Flower Power. It is the largest flower show in the world.
Cherry Blossom Festival: April 6–14
Each spring, Shofuso Japanese House and Garden in Fairmount Park hosts a celebration of beautiful blooming cherry blossoms. Expect to see film screenings, demonstrations and other activities.
Day-Long Events in May
Neighborhoods throughout the city host celebrations in May, including the South Street Spring Festival (May 4), Broad Street Run (May 6) and Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival (May 19).
Fringe Festival: Sept. 5–21
The two-week festival features unique performances by Philadelphia’s best talent.
Mural Arts Month: October
Philadelphia honors the more than 4,000 murals throughout the city in October. The month-long celebration includes free and pay-what-you-wish tours and events.
Christmas Village: Nov. 28–Dec. 24
Center City hosts a German-style Christmas market complete with vendors selling local goods and treats.
