With COVID-19 bringing out some uncertainty, more people are booking travel insurance for their upcoming trips. The travel insurance market is projected to reach $99 billion by 2030. With travel insurance on the rise, two questions are raised: How can travel retailers cash in on this demand to make auxiliary money? How do vacationers decide if they need travel insurance and what policy is right for them?
To help answer these questions, VisitorsCoverage, a travel insurance company, created tech solutions making it easier to sell and buy insurance.
For travel professionals, VisitorsCoverage just launched Treppy, a free, digital storefront solution to help reduce the time and effort it takes for an agent or travel site to offer travel insurance solutions to customers. The embedded Software-as-a-Service solution enables insurance agents and agencies with little to no technical experience a way to easily offer the best insurance products for customers
VisitorsCoverage made it more convenient for travelers looking to learn about and book travel insurance by creating an artificial intelligence bot, Luna. Luna marks a first in the travel insurance industry, undergoing enhancements to respond to questions with about a 96 percent accuracy rate. The company also introduced a new WhatsApp Travel Insurance Concierge, available to answer insurance questions and help purchase the right policies. These two additions comprise just two examples of how the company uses its technology foundation to educate customers and simplify the purchase process.
