Tips / Travel

When faced with a flight delay or lengthy layover, you´re presented with a few options to pass the time in your terminal of confinement. One of the best ways to spend the hours between flights is to kick back with an ice-cold adult beverage at one of these airport bars, known to be some of the best bars in the nation´s airports.

BRKLYN Beer Garden, John F. Kennedy International Airport

One of New York´s three area airports is home to an actual beer garden where some of the Empire State´s best beer is served. Pair your brew with pub-like snacks like fish and chips or standard German biergarten fare like bratwurst.

Biergarten, La Guardia International Airport

NYC´s other borough-based airport also houses a biergarten where 24 brews are available on tap.

SF Uncork´d, San Francisco International Airport

Ten local draft beers, an extensive collection of bottled beers and a fully stocked wine bar comprise this northern California airport bar, complemented with a comprehensive slider menu.

New Belgium Hub, Denver International Airport

Colorado´s pride and joy has its own brewpub inside its capital airport. Decorated in New Belgium´s signature bicycle theme, the boozy menu gives you a taste of the famed beverage if you happened to miss it during your stay in Denver.

Saxon Pub, Austin Bergstrom International Airport

Keeping Austin weird extends to its airport where Saxon Pub showcases live music, local beer and that Austin dive bar attitude.
