Though state-of-the-art meeting facilities and amenities can bring together and inspire people for business success, hotels in locations across the United States are bringing guests back to the basics with classic lawn games.
From glow-in-the-dark bocce ball to life-size tic-tac-toe, the old-school activities are designed to inspire and promote teambuilding over conversation and brain fitness.
Nestled on Key West’s only natural sand beach, The Reach provides attendees the opportunity to exercise their brains over giant poolside chess.
Hilton West Palm Beach, slated to begin welcoming guests this month, features a unique menu of complimentary glow-in-the-dark lawn games like bocce ball, ladder golf and cornhole on its expansive event lawns.
In addition to the largest ballroom on the Hawaiian Islands, guests of Hilton Hawaiian Village will find traditional ancient Hawaiian bowling, ‘ulu maika, as well as Hawaiian horseshoe and hula hoop.
Guests of Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village can bond over water balloon toss cornhole, horseshoe toss and ladderball. The resort offers a different group activity five days per week on its gazebo lawn.
Games abound at Aloft South Beach, where guests can interact while playing life-size tic-tac-toe, beanbag toss and oversized dice games.
Meeting attendees at Aston Mahana at Kaanapali can take a break from the boardroom with oceanfront shuffleboard.
