SWRVE specializes in active, yet stylish apparel for men. Among the fabrics the company uses is their Modal fabric, a 100-percent-natural fabric derived from beechwood trees grown without fertilizer or pesticides. The fabric feels cottony soft, but it’s quick to dry when wet, unlike cotton. It’s also highly breathable and naturally resists odor — it’s pretty much everything you want in a fabric.
SWRVE’s Modal tees are also sourced responsibly, according to the website: “We make all efforts to source our fabric from a responsible vendor that in the process to convert wood to fiber does it in a way that uses all aspects of the tree, recaptures almost all chemicals used and recycles them, and utilizes energy in the best way possible for a minimum of environmental impact. The process is so efficient that it is CO2 neutral. And, because the contents of the fabric are all natural, it is biodegradable, so there is no need to recycle it when you are done.”
The tees are pretty straightforward, without a lot of extra flair or design. That makes them great for your basic, everyday wear, and because they perform well when you’re active, you can move seamlessly from the office to the outdoors. The fit is trim, so these shirts generally work best for buyers who like a more snug fit or who are slim. The products come in a range of colors, from burnt orange to more neutral grays and blues.
