Alonissos

The island of Alonissos rests in the center of the Aegean Sea and is home to some pretty unique creatures. It houses the largest collection of Mediterranean monk seal in the world. It’s also breathtakingly beautiful.

Samothraki

Another island on the Aegean, Samothraki is renowned for the discovery of the Nike of Samothrace. However, what really makes it shine are the incredible hot springs, waterfalls and rock formations dotting the landscape.

The Giola

The Giola is a pool surrounded by rock on the island of Thassos. The rocks below the water are turquoise in color, sharing the hue with the crystal-clear Mediterranean waters above it, making it a popular spot for swimming.

The Samaria Gorge

The Samaria Gorge looks like something out of a fantasy movie. It would be easy to imagine the action of Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones taking place in this epic expanse of cliffs and wildlife.

Melissani Cave, Greece © Athina Psoma | Dreamstime 44908373

Melissani Cave

You’ve probably seen pictures of this, but didn’t know what it was. The cave system opens to a splendid pool surrounded by rocks, where the light from above shines down illuminating the turquoise walls. You can access it by boat or from above.
