Affordable luxury hotel brand citizenM announces three new hotels coming to the United States and Europe in 2023. Aiming to have 40 operational hotels by 2024, these three new hotels add to its growing portfolio.
citizenM Paris Opera
Slated to open spring 2023, citizenM brings its fifth hotel to Paris. As one of the smallest properties in the portfolio, citizenM Paris Opera features 84 rooms and lies just a short walk from the famous Opera. The new property offers guests spaces to work, relax and socialize, as well as commissioned work from Montmartre-based Amélie Bertrand. In addition to the rooms, the hotel will include two society meeting rooms and a 24/7 canteenM. The opening of this property follows citizenM’s four other Paris properties, including citizenM Paris Gare de Lyon, citizenM Paris La Defense and Paris Charles de Gaulle.
citizenM Miami World Center
On the heels of citizenM Miami Brickell, opened July 2022, citizenM’s second hotel in Miami plans to open in the first quarter of 2023. The centrally placed hotel features a series of sculptures, created by FriendsWithYou, a Los Angeles-based art collaboration between Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, placed across the façade. The 351-room hotel also includes four society meeting rooms, a gym, and rooftop pool and bar, as well as commissioned art by Katherine Bernhardt and Ajarb Bernard Ategwa.
citizenM Austin Downtown
citizenM opens its first hotel in Austin with citizenM Austin Downtown, scheduled to open summer 2023. The 17-story tower includes 344 rooms, with designs inspired by the local community. citizenM Austin Downtown will boast a gym and rooftop pool and bar, with the rooftop design commissioned by PONI.
