Jane’s Good Call
Inspired by Jane Goodall, leading environmental activist and wonderful mom, this cocktail is easy to make and equally delicious.
Ingredients
- 5 oz. Virginia Distillery Scholar’s Craft
- ¾ oz. Amaro Nonino
- ¾ oz. Cocchi Americano
- ¼ oz. Giffard Banane du Brésil Liqueur
- Lemon peel
Combine all ingredients into a rocks glass with ice, stir and garnish with a lemon peel.
Bell (Pepper) of the Ball
Because mom is always belle of the ball, she deserves to kick back and enjoy a delicious cocktail with a kick.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. Finlandia Vodka
- 1 oz. bell pepper-infused Finlandia Vodka
- 1 oz. Chambord
- ¾ oz. lime juice
- ½ oz lychee juice
- ½ oz. ginger syrup
Combine all ingredients in a shaker and give a good shake. Strain over pebble ice and garnish with a thinly sliced cucumber rolled up.
Spring Thyme Spritz
Put a spring into mom’s step with this refreshing drink.
Ingredients
- 5 oz. El Bandido Yankee Blanco Tequila
- ½ oz. Campari
- ½ oz. passion fruit liqueur
- ¾ oz. strawberry syrup (see instructions below)
- 1 oz. tangerine juice
- Squeeze of lemon
- Squeeze of lime
- 2 oz. prosecco
- 2 oz. sparkling water
In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients except prosecco and sparkling water. Crush thyme and add to the shaker with ice and shake. Fill a tall glass with cracked clear ice and strain contents into the glass. Top with sparkling water and prosecco and garnish with an orange wheel, lemon wedge and fresh thyme.
Strawberry Syrup
Ingredients:
- 1 cup chopped fresh or frozen strawberries
- ⅔ cups of granulated sugar
Combine strawberries and sugar in a mixing bowl and muddle into a pulp. Allow sugar to soften the berries for a few hours. Stir occasionally to make sure sugar is dissolved. Once the mixer is ready, strain and bottle the syrup then discard the pulp.
