Traveling to Asheville soon? You certainly won’t go hungry, thanks to four brand-new restaurants making waves on the city’s culinary scene.
Botiwalla opens next month with the James Beard award-winning restaurant group Chai Pani at the helm. The fast-casual spot is intended to mimic the vibrant late-night eateries one might find in India. Currently, you can already spot outposts of this restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, and Charlotte, North Carolina.
Little Louie’s Hoagies & Perogies
This restaurant opened earlier in the spring, offering rib-sticking casual fare like, of course, hoagies and pierogies. The menu is simple, so if you’re not into either of these food groups, you may want to choose another restaurant.
S&W Market is a historic Art Deco food hall with a range of counter-service restaurants, including the brand-new Gourmand, where the specialty is charcuterie-type eats and wine.
Lastly, Little D’s is a North Asheville restaurant offering a super-stylish and social media-worthy setting. The menu, meanwhile, provides a small selection of upscale, seasonal shareables. Think grilled oysters with Calabrian chili butter and parmesan mousse, or bone marrow with smoked onion jam and sourdough.
