Running July 8 and 12 (with more dates announced in the coming weeks), visitors can join Bristol’s legendary engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel on a walking tour of the Harbourside. During the tour, visitors hear stories behind some of his greatest works and how his engineering changed the world.
This free event, through Sept. 3, comprises part of Bristol 650, in which the city celebrates 650 years since becoming an independent city and county. Additionally, Night Glow shows and fireworks light up the sky come night time. Other fun features of the fiesta include fairground rides, entertainment, live music and beautiful aerial displays, all set on the grounds of Ashton Court Estate.
