Donghwasa is a Buddhist temple in northern Daegu, dating back to the fifth century. Reconstructed several times over the centuries, the current temple boasts several great halls, including Main Buddha Hall, built in the 1700s. Head to Daegu Yangnyeongsi to experience a medicinal market that has graced the area for more than 350 years. Today, the area features tea shops, pharmacies, restaurants and a sculpture dedicated to Asian medicine.
