Bauhaus, a type of architecture originally founded in 1919 in Germany, can be seen throughout Tel Aviv. Tel Aviv hosts a week-long celebration the second week of June in observance of Gay Pride Month. The pinnacle of the festival occurs on Friday with more than 250,000 revelers joining in the celebration. Since 2019, this parade is the largest LGBTQIA+ parade in Asia.
