RollingFWD, a high-tech vibrating foam roller, wants users to keep rolling forward.

The new product upgraded the traditional foam roller by taking its deep tissue massage function and adding the benefits of vibration in order to provide a better and deeper treatment. RollingFWD does more than release muscle tightness and work out knots or trigger points; it increases blood flow and reduces pain so as to speed up recovery and get users back on their feet faster.

The product’s mission is to “help all of us (professional athletes, weekend warriors, fitness and wellness enthusiasts) take care of our bodies and continue to do the activities we love.”

Several professional athletes, including Jamie Connor, 2016 Olympic Pole Vault hopeful, have backed RollingFWD. Connor said, “”RollingFwd’s vibrating foam roller invigorates my muscles before a workout and relaxes them at the same time so I can be at my best during training or competition. Since I’ve added vibration to my rolling routine, I spend less time on recovery and more time perfecting what I do best — pole vaulting.”

RollingFWD comes in two sizes: a 36-inch roller for full-body work and an 18-inch roller for travelers on the go. Both feature a long-lasting (up to 11 hours) lithium ion battery that offers three levels of vibration.

The product recently completed a successful Kickstarter, with more than 100 backers pledging $40,000, and is available for purchase online.
