Life on the campaign trail can be tough! Have you ever wondered where your favorite 2016 presidential candidate jets off to when they’re not on the clock?
Jeb Bush
Following the footsteps of Bush families before him, Jeb has his own home at the Bush compound in Maine. Located on Walker’s Point in Kennebunkport, the site has been the summer home of the Bush family for decades and has played host to important world political figures.

Ben Carson
Ben Carson takes his vacation days out of the country with visits to a favorite villa on the Amalfi Coast of Italy. We definitely can’t blame him. This picturesque region is perfect for a Mediterranean getaway.
Chris Christie
Chris Christie most certainly knows how to travel. The New Jersey governor has been a little bit of everywhere, typically taking the more luxurious options available. From the Middle East to the Caribbean, you’re sure to find him somewhere glamorous.

Ted Cruz
This presidential candidate has been criticized for the number of vacation days he’s taken, but you won’t find him living the good life with Christie. Instead, you’re more likely to find Ted Cruz duck hunting with the Duck Dynasty crew or discussing his Israeli support with rabbis at Passover getaways hosted by luxury resorts in California.
Marco Rubio
Does a holiday sleepover at Mitt Romney’s house sound like a great way to spend vacation time? Apparently so to Marco Rubio and Chris Christie, who both included that little New Hampshire getaway in their 2015 travel. You can also find Marco Rubio in Las Vegas or at Disney World, a popular choice for politicians and their families.

Donald Trump
When you have hotels all over the world, not to mention a ridiculous amount of money gained from being a business mogul, rather than a politician, the world is most certainly your oyster. However, if you have the hubris of Donald Trump, you’re only going to stay at your own properties, naturally. One of his favorites? The Turnberry in Scotland.
Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton has the White House background and is accustomed to all the jet-setting perks that come with it, and just because she vacations stateside, it doesn’t make her getaways low-key by any means. Her destination of choice is the Hamptons, where she spends time with family in a vacation rental costing close to the average American income per week.

Bernie Sanders
Bernie Sanders is pushing for Americans to get plenty of their own paid vacation each year, but there’s not much talk about where he’s spending his days off. In fact, he’s been described by a former chief of staff as not having any hobbies and not going on vacation. Even his honeymoon was a business trip, during which he and his new wife traveled to the Soviet Union for diplomatic meetings.

Insta FeedAre You Ready for the Final Switch to Real ID?
Yesterday, TSA began enforcing new identification guidelines, a change that’s been a long-time coming. Now, travelers must show a REAL ID-compliant, state-issued ID in order to fly on domestic flights, in lieu of a non-compliant driver’s license (some other forms of identification, such as passports, will still be acceptable).
