Adventure awaits and much of it is in the ocean. Cliff jumping, snorkeling, surfing, paddle-boarding or just a simple adrenaline-light swimming session all can be captured with your iPhone if you dare take it with you. Cases usually range from $20–350 and the best quality will start around $70. These cases are rated best for keeping your phone safe through your underwater escapades.
Fre Case from LifeProof
This case lets you submerge your phone in as much as 6.6 feet of water for up to an hour without damage. It’s surprisingly thin and gives great usage of the touch screen whereas many underwater cases make the screen tough to use. It’s been praised for its durability to survive both falls and time. It’s been noted by many as the longest lasting case, which is why it’s on the more expensive end. It’s available for iPhones, iPads, Samsung Galaxies and other select Android systems for around $70.
Catalyst Case for iPhone
For the same price as LifeProof, you can get the Catalyst case, which has many of the same protections and usability, but it can be submerged in up to 16 feet of water so you’ll get to dive a little bit deeper into your photography. Only drawback is you must be an iPhone owner to use it.
Watershot Pro
If you really want to go bananas underwater and get the fancy shots, check out the products at Watershot Pro. They provide incredibly durable cases that start at around $170 for the housing. They can be submerged in up to 195 feet of water and come with plenty of add-on products like lens filters, wide-angle lens attachments, lighting options and almost anything you’ll need to snap the perfect shot underwater.

The study discovered the largest portion of cruisers are ages 25 to 44, making up 45 percent of all cruise bookers. Seniors, aged 55 and up, currently only account for 26 percent of cruise bookers. The platform theorizes this trend in younger cruisers is brought about by cruise lines’ increasing offering of family-friendly experiences and shorter cruises that can be enjoyed over a long weekend.
