Bachelor and bachelorette parties can be stressful, especially if you’re the one planning the party, not to mention paying the average per-person party cost of $650. A new app hopes to make the process easier.
The BACH app makes planning or booking a bachelor or bachelorette party more efficient. It is currently available in four U.S. cities and it allows users to collaborate, share group itineraries, chat, track and split expenses and purchase party experiences, all in one app. The app gained 40,000 users so far in Nashville, Las Vegas, Miami and Charleston. The various experiences offered on the app include one-of-a-kind activities led by local experts and range from goat yoga to DJ sets, hair styling to adventure tours.
Unfortunately, currently, you can’t directly link a credit card or bank account to the app to actually pay those split-up payments. Instead, you can just see what’s owed and you’ll have to settle up another way. You can, though, link your credit card to the app in order to pay for experiences booked.
“When it comes to planning a group vacation, everyone has a horror story,” said Gregory Ramey, co-founder and chief revenue officer, BACH. “We see the same pitfalls over and over again. We designed BACH to foolproof the planning process and drive groups towards experiences made for them with businesses who welcome parties of this nature.”
You can download the BACH app on either the Apple App Store or Google Play.
