North America

Half Moon Bay, California, entices travelers to visit this summer with a season full of fun activities and events.

Make it Main Street

Running July 1—Nov. 4, the event celebrates local artists. On the first Thursday of the month, 1–7 p.m., five blocks of Main Street offer a rotating group of musicians, artists, storytellers and poets presenting their art. Local short films will be screened in the evenings.

30th Annual Farm + Fish + Flowers

Held July 24, 10 a.m.–4 p.m., the unique event gives visitors a chance to explore areas of local nurseries, greenhouses and farms not normally open to the public. Tour one location for $20 or three for $40.

Goat Yoga

Lemos Farm hosts outdoor goat yoga. The experience includes 45 minutes of yoga with 15 –20 goats roaming around yogis, followed by 15 minutes in the petting zoo. Classes are held Saturday and Sunday for $35 per person.

The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay Celebrates 20 Years

In honor of The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay’s 20th anniversary, the property offers guests a 20 Years on the Coast deal. The offer includes overnight accommodations, a 2001 wine selected by a sommelier and chocolate cake made with 20-year-old Scotch. Available through Dec. 31, rates start at $975 per night.

Half Moon Bay Brewing Co.

Half Moon Bay Brewing Co. reopened its bar for the first time since March 2020. The brewery also boasts an outdoor dog-friendly patio seating area and an indoor dining room. Beers are available on tap or in cans and bottles.
