Hard Rock Hotel New York recently opened its doors in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, nearby Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center and the Theater District. Also close by is the historic Music Row, the hub of recording studios and music stores that once lined 48th Street, and, in celebration of its location, the hotel offers live music in all public spaces.
The property also boasts a partnership with Audacy, a large U.S. broadcaster, to house integrated Audacy Live, a state-of-the-art performance studio and entertainment hub. Recording sessions, live events and intimate performances from top artists will be regularly featured.
“New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world and we are honored to open our doors to locals and travelers looking for a best-in-class hotel, dining, and entertainment experience,” said Jim Allen, chairman, Hard Rock International. “Hard Rock has had a presence for decades in the city, but this location will deliver an entirely new experience from the brand that’s been synonymous with music and entertainment for over 50 years.”
Another show-stopper on site: The Venue of Music Row. The two-floor entertainment space, inspired by New York’s past of jazz clubs, speakeasies and dinner-theater performances, will host performances, fashion shows, after-parties, gala dinners and more.
Hard Rock Hotel New York’s 446 guestrooms and suites boast floor-to-ceiling windows, blue tones, gold accents and iconic imagery of notable artists. A range of accommodations include the 36th-floor Rock Star Suite, with a 1,600-square-foot terrace.
Three food and beverage outlets include NYY Steak, serving fine dining in partnership with the New York Yankees; Sessions Restaurant & Bar, with farm-fresh fare at breakfast, lunch and for evening bites; and RT60 bar and lounge on the 34th floor. A Rock Shop, accessible from 48th Street, will sell merchandise.
Some of the signature Hard Rock memorabilia on display at Hard Rock Hotel New York includes a leather motorcycle jacket owned by Joey Ramone; silver patent leather boots worn by Lady Gaga; and custom Jay Z and Beyonce outfits, among other pieces.
The Sound of Your Stay amenity allows guests to enjoy Tracks-curated playlists inspired by New York City. Crosley record players are available upon request, as are Fender guitars. The Unleashed pet program welcomes four-legged friends to the hotel, and the Rock Om program fuses yoga with a DJ-curated soundtrack. Explore all this and more on your music-filled visit to the Big Apple.
