For a little extra help planning your next trip, consider Trip Canvas, a newly launched planning tool from AAA Travel. The all-in-one platform helps you research potential trips, find inspiration and take advantage of travel savings and discounts from AAA.
Here’s how it works:
Your Trip Canvas homepage is populated with trending cruises, destinations, experiences, restaurants, articles and more. You can start looking for inspiration there, or, if you already know where you’d like to go, you can search a destination. Then, you’ll be prompted to provide travel dates or a travel season, though these aren’t required. From there, you’ll be asked to provide what kind of travel you like most — family, adventure, budget, road trips, etcetera. You can pick several travel types before Trip Canvas provides you with suggestions for tours, hotels, cruises and experiences you might like based on your answers. You can also find full suggested itineraries available for your perusal.
If you find itineraries, hotels or activities you’re interested in, you can favorite them or save them to a dedicated trip, then share those ideas and inspiration with friends and family. If you’re planning a trip with others, they can also add ideas and inspirations to your trip planner. Then, once you’re ready to book, you can purchase those activities and reserve those itineraries that you’ve picked out, all while taking advantage of AAA savings.
