Most of us (of a certain age) remember Laguna Beach through the early 2000s’ reality show that spawned Lauren Conrad’s empire (plus Lo, Kristen, Whitney, Heidi and Spencer). But it’s also a fantastic bachelorette location for your crew. Fly into LAX and drive up the cost, find a seaside Airbnb and prepare for a relaxed SoCal weekend.
Friday
Arrive in Cali, drive up to Laguna. Stretch out post flight with afternoon yoga on the beach, then a beach bonfire, complete with s’mores, motivational beverages and late night swims.
Saturday
Surf lesson at Costa Azul. You’ll learn the basics or brush up on your skills. After your morning workout, grab a late lunch at Nick’s Laguna Beach. Amazing food, and a Laguna Beach favorite. In the afternoon, head out for a hike at Crystal Cove (adjacent to Top of the World). Then head over to the Beachcomber for a post-hike drink. Check out the Bootlegger Bar as well!
Late in the evening, head to dinner at Carmelita’s, one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. Their killer guacamole and margaritas combo really hits the spot.
Post-dinner, grab drinks at K’ya Bistro. Drink on the rooftop to enjoy delicious cocktails and a gorgeous ocean view, then make your way over to Sandpiper Lounge, a fun dive/grunge bar, also located in an area with many other bars/lounges around so you can hop around from place to place throughout the evening.
Sunday
Lazy morning beach walk, followed by breakfast at the house. Lounge at the beach until it’s time to head back to reality!
