The White Mountains of New Hampshire are a popular destination for nature lovers looking for hiking and skiing in the Northeast. However, until recently, there were few glamping opportunities in the destination. In August, the region welcomed the opening of new glamping resort Lumen Nature Retreat.
Lumen Nature Retreat offers guests more than 30 glamping spots set across more than 20 acres. You get the closeness with nature, but all the luxuries you need, too, such as a climate-controlled bath house with premium toiletries and an aesthetic more fitting a spa than a nature retreat. The retreat also features plush bedding, smokeless fire pits and a full cooking kit to go along with your stove. Each safari or A-frame tent is outfitted with hammocks, Adirondack chairs and picnic tables. Most sites are also waterfront, facing the property’s brooks and ponds.
“We are thrilled to invite everyone who loves nature to come to unplug and relax in the beautiful New Hampshire White Mountains,” said Boris Mordkovich and Susan Zhao, founders, Lumen Nature Retreat. “The point is to get away from your day-to-day routines and enjoy the nature without having to worry about camping equipment and gear. Everything you need is here, and we look forward to extending our hospitality to you and your companions.”
