The first hotel to open in 15 years in South San Francisco is an AC Hotel — Marriott’s signature lifestyle brand that seamlessly blends European traditions with a chic, modern accommodation experience.
AC Hotel San Francisco Airport/Oyster Point Waterfront is located a convenient 10 miles from downtown San Francisco and 10 minutes from San Francisco International Airport. The new 187-room property is located in the city’s growing biotech hub, ideal for entrepreneurial travelers seeking a sophisticated, unique experience.
Overlooking the San Francisco Bay, the hotel offers beautiful views as well as an abundance of natural
light, nature-inspired design and an al fresco courtyard featuring “Argento Shadown Sphere,” a work of art inspired by the sun by sculptor Michael Enn Sirvet.
The lobby features an oyster shell art installation suspended from the ceiling, influenced by the area’s rich history of oyster farming and ship building. AC Hotels’ signature food and beverage program includes the AC Kitchen’s Grab-n-Go and buffet breakfast. The AC Lounge offers a relaxing space to unwind, conduct business meetings or get work done during the day, as well as a social space in the evening, serving local craft beer, specialty wine, cocktails and tapas-style small plates. Also in the lounge, guests enjoy weekly lounge activations in collaboration with Bay Area artists, musicians and culinary experts.
“AC Hotels’ high-style, carefully edited experience is well-suited to the discerning, modern business traveler, making this entrepreneurial hub in San Francisco a perfect fit for the brand,” said Benoit Racle, senior global brand director, AC Hotels by Marriott.
Bespoke amenities and services include a 24-hour fitness center, indoor heated pool, library, complimentary airport shuttle, free WiFi and hydration stations.
