AC Hotels by Marriott Unveils AC Hotel by Marriott Heredia Belen in Costa Rica

AC Hotel by Marriott Herendia Belen recently opened in La Rivera de Belén, Costa Rica. As part of the design-led lifestyle brand, the new hotel features 147 rooms and suites, five meeting rooms, a restaurant, lounge and terrace with a pool and bar. AC Hotel by Marriott Herendia Belen lies in the Cityzen Epicentro Laboral mixed-use complex, allowing guests to enjoy some of the building’s other services, including a convenience store and pharmacy.

Designed to create optimal comfort with the influence of modern décor, the new property boasts open layouts with floor-to-ceiling windows in the lobby, guestrooms and some of the meeting rooms. The windows provide natural lighting and views of the mountains of Costa Rica’s Central Valley.

In addition to 106 standard rooms, AC Hotel by Marriott Herendia Belen also includes 10 executive rooms with balconies and five suites. Each room comes equipped with a coffee machine, LCD screen, open closet and work area, air conditioning and a minibar. The AC Lounge serves as a space for coworking and creative gatherings in the daytime and a place for conversation and European-style tapas by night. The AC Lounge also offers the exclusive AC Gin Tonic, the signature cocktail of AC Hotels by Marriott.

The hotel’s restaurant, AC Kitchen, serves breakfast and dinner, with dishes inspired by international cuisine with highlights of European flavors. Some dishes also incorporate local recipes. At the top of the hotel, AC Terrace invites guests to enjoy its pool and bar while looking out on the nearby mountains. The space offers drinks and light meals for a memorable sunset evening.

Other amenities of the hotel include 3,400 square meters of flexible meeting space, an outdoor pool, 24-hour fitness center and AC Library, a great space to work or study.
