Andaz recently debuted its capsule collaboration with artist Hebru Brantley, named Away We Go and available at Andaz West Hollywood, Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht and Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills. Brantley is known for his Afrofuturist style and narrative-driven work. At the hotels, guests experience Brantley’s work through room takeovers and a limited-edition capsule collection.

The Away We Go theme features Brantley’s newest characters, a young sailor boy and his dog, that embody the spirit of adventure while also symbolizing the emotional anchor of exploring the unknown.
“At Andaz hotels, travel is a journey of discovery, creativity, and connection,” said Kenneth Villamil, vice president & Global Brand Design & Strategy, Hyatt Hotels. “Partnering with visionary artist Hebru Brantley allows us to bring that vision to life by embodying the adventurous spirit of Andaz, encouraging travelers to explore not only new places and cultures but new perspectives.”

Select guestrooms at the three hotels boast custom furnishings and décor, like throw pillows and bedspreads; collectible art; personalized touchpoints, including mugs and pens; and limited-edition hotel key cards. The capsule collection, available exclusively through select qualifying bookings, includes a brand bathrobe and hoodie; a signature candle, coffee mug and postcard; and a custom-designed tote.
“At the core of Away We Go is celebrating the spirit of venturing into the unknown,” said Brantley. “I hope that travelers, whether young or young at heart, step into the spaces we’ve uniquely crafted at participating Andaz hotels and experience the transformative power of travel. The adventurous characters and imaginative environments within the guestrooms offer a nostalgic and forward-thinking perspective on the incredible impact of exploration.”
The Brantley-designed rooms are currently in Los Angeles through April 3. Amsterdam runs April 3–13, and Tokyo, from April 13 to 23.
