Sitting in the middle of the Downtown Los Angeles art district is a little gem called Angel City Brewing. If you’re a fan of craft beer, outgoing people, cheap tacos and games, you will love this brewery. Since its fairly recent opening to the public in 2013, Angel City has been offering a continuously rotating selection of more than 10 craft beers. Being that it’s hard to go without tasting every bit of the creativity dropped into these barrels, the brewery offers taste flights of beer. You’ll get to taste every beer without falling off your barstool before the end of the night.
Drop in to get a tour of the brewery and learn a little bit about how great beer is made, then follow that up with sticking around for one of their game nights. Monday Night Mayhem offers more than 15 board games, a three-round cornhole tournament and a host that will keep you laughing. It’s free to play and you might even win some prizes. Tuesday nights offer tacos and trivia. Wednesday night is for the bingo fans. Every Thursday there’s a farmers market just outside where Angel City Brewing unveils a mystery cask of beer.
What’s a brewery without a solid Sunday Funday? All beer lovers still need to stay fit, so every Sunday morning it will cost you $10 to do a two-mile run followed by a Vinyasa Flow Yoga class in the brewery followed by a beer of your choice. Make sure to stick around for Sunday Paint Night where an artist will guide you through creating a canvas masterpiece you get to take home at the end of the night.
