Camping can be a lot of fun, but also unpredictable. Bugs, bad weather and nearby campers could put a damper on the experience. That’s where Attrap’Rêves, aka the “Bubble Hotel,” comes in. Located in Allauch, France, it combines the best parts of camping with a classy hotel experience to make for an ultimate vacation getaway.

There are seven packages to choose from, including suite-size bubbles, or bubbles with jacuzzis or telescopes, and they all include breakfast. After you choose the type of package you like, you can then choose the theme of your bubble, such as Zen, Glamour, Nature or 1001 Nights of Love, and you can also choose between a “totally see-through” or “mostly see-through” bubble. Each bubble comes with its own shower, toilet, temperature control and private parking, and each habitat was created out of recycled material and gets deflated at the end of the season, insuring no impact to mother nature.

If privacy is a concern, fear not, each bubble is accessed by a totally different path, so you won’t be anywhere near that just-married couple on their honeymoon, and the bathrooms are not enclosed in clear bubbles.

So if you happen to be in France, and can’t decide between camping or staying in a nice hotel, give the Bubble Hotel a try and enjoy the best of both worlds!

The Best Way to See Denali: Fly-In Travel

Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska spans more than 6 million acres; however, most visitors only see a fraction of the park. This is partially due to the park’s many remote areas, but also, more recently, because of a landslide that rendered one of the park’s main thoroughfares completely inaccessible, indefinitely.
