Dale Leatherman is a freelance travel writer who has specialized in golf, adventure and equestrian sports for more than 30 years. A past president of Society of American Travel Writers, she has completed and written about a bucket list of places and adventures, including swimming with humpback whales and whale sharks, rafting legendary whitewater rivers, and playing famous golf courses. She is a former private pilot and avid scuba diver. Her book, Courting Danger, written with tennis star and World War II spy Alice Marble, is under option.
