Steve Jermanok wrote his first story for Global Traveler in 2008 on Suva, Fiji. He has since traveled the globe, writing close to 40 stories on such destinations as Cappadocia, Cartagena, Cape Town and Sydney for the publication. In May 2012, Jermanok and his wife launched a boutique travel agency, ActiveTravels, utilizing his contacts made around the globe. His latest book is New England in a Nutshell, published in 2020.
