Terry Ward has been a freelance travel writer since 2000, when she left a corporate job at an ad agency to travel the world and write about it. She’s called Australia, New Zealand and France home over the years and currently lives in Tampa, Florida. A graduate of University of Florida, Ward loves scuba diving, skiing and traveling with her young kids far and wide. Her bylines appear in National Geographic and on CNN, in addition to many other publications.
