Central America may not have the same reputation for wild parties as Mexico or other destinations, but if you want to throw a bachelor party with a difference you could do worse than taking your group to some of these spots.
San Juan del Sur has become Nicaragua’s premier party town in the past few years, and although prices are rising due to an influx of foreign investment, you’ll still get a beer for $3 in one of the many bars. A constant stream of travelers makes for a happy-go-lucky atmosphere.
Those looking for a more relaxed event might like to try out the beaches of Costa Rica. There is ample nightlife in Jaco Beach, but there are plenty of other attractions for the more active group too, such as a day of zip-lining through the cloudforest.
Venture further south from Costa Rica and you’ll hit the Bocas del Toro archipelago, Panama, where the laid-back daytime atmosphere belies the raucous nightlife. There are no shortage of bars for the bachelor to bid a fond farewell to his last days as a single man, and the beautiful local beaches make the perfect spot to nurse a sore head during the day.
If you’re planning a bachelor party, don’t fall into the cliché of taking your group to Las Vegas; think outside the box with these off-the-beaten-track destinations which are guaranteed to give the groom-to-be a fitting send off.
