Traveling with full-sized products comes with many obstacles. Even if you pack only what you deem “necessary.” All the products you use on a daily basis not only take up much needed space in your suitcase, but they also add weight to your luggage that may put you over the general 50-pound limit. Taking them out and putting them in your carry-on isn’t always the answer. Most of your toiletries probably don’t fit the 3.4-ounce limit and having to throw them away is never fun.
Going the “I’ll just use the complimentary toiletries at the hotel” route doesn’t always work out. Perhaps you prefer body wash, not the soap offered both in the shower and at the sink, and you may not enjoy the practical, yet not very effective 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner they provide.
Your daily beauty routine shouldn’t suffer when you leave home. Here’s a list of products, for both men and women, made by your favorite brands that will end all the beauty-related struggles travelers go through too often.
For Everyone:
Living Proof Perfect Hair Day Kit, $29 — This travel kit comes equipped with shampoo, conditioner and a 5-in-1 styling treatment. You get quality products from a brand you trust and each item in the kit is 2 ounces, which means you can stow them in your carry-on.
Burt’s Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk & Honey Body Lotion, $7.59 — Soothing, nourishing and lightweight, you can’t do much better than this for the price.
Aromatherapy Travel Size Body Wash & Foam Bath in Eucalyptus Spearmint, $5 — Not surprisingly, this fast-foaming body wash is loaded with natural ingredients that soothe both body and mind.
For Women:
Ulta Travel Size Regular Nail Polish Remover, $1.49 — Not only does it remove nail polish, but this 2-ounce remover was also formulated to strengthen nails.
Ole Heinrikson The Clean Truth™ Cleansing Cloths:Brightening, $8 — These wipes do double duty by removing makeup while hydrating skin.
For Men:
Kiehl’s Since 1851 Ultimate Brushless Shave Cream: White Eagle, $9 — 2.5 ounces of Kiehl’s most popular shave cream uses menthol and camphor for an incomparable skin effect.
