International hospitality brand Room Mate announced the launch of BeMate.com, a new travel service combining the amenities of a hotel with the privacy and convenience of an apartment.
BeMate offers 2,500 apartments in 10 cities across Europe and North America, including New York City, Miami, Florence, Mexico City and Amsterdam, closely located to a Room Mate or other partner hotel, allowing for those staying in apartments to be privy to hotel perks. Services offered include housekeeping, airport transfers, babysitting, breakfast, luggage storage and late check-out. BeMate guests can also use the hotel concierge to assist with additional supplies and troubleshooting.
Accommodations range from studios to four bedrooms and include apartments and houses with private kitchens. The BeMate team personally approves each accommodation, and arrangements are made with the company rather than the apartment owner.
“Building on the success and rapid growth of the Room Mate brand, we were eager to offer consumers a new way to travel,” said Enrique Sarasola, president and founder. “In founding BeMate, my goal was to create a new service that seamlessly integrates the comfort and privacy of a home with the services of a traditional hotel.”
BeMate plans to extend to 200 cities by the end of 2015 and launch a mobile app for iPhone and Android owners.
