With many college students fleeing universities for warmer weather this month, it’s worth checking out some of the interesting and sometimes little-known festivals and events also happening in April. With some extra travel time on your hands, you may find a reason to visit a new and exciting destination hosting one of the great events below.
One Spark is a Jacksonville, Fla., event showcasing the best innovations and start-ups, held in April. If you’re passionate about new tech and helpful products, this is an event for you. The close proximity to the beach is also a plus.
If your spring break plans take you to Europe, make a quick stop in Austria for Snowbombing. The weeklong event combines music and snow for one of the most fun music festivals in Europe. You have plenty of chances to stop in, with a variety of ticket options to choose from.
You’ve obviously heard of Coachella. If you can get much-coveted tickets to this event, snatch them up immediately. With two weekends of fun, this is a spring break destination that finds itself on many bucket lists.
If Spanish music is more your style, check out Vive Latino. During April 23–24, in Mexico City, you’ll find a line-up of the best in rock, alternative rock and Latin American.
