Crystal Lake, Mich.

Nestled not too far from Lake Michigan is a body of water that appropriately represents its name. Crater Lake, Ore.

After a volcano collapsed, a lake formed on the border of Wizard Island. Crater Lake is the deepest (and probably bluest) lake in the United States with a maximum depth of 1,943 feet. Boat tours and campgrounds are available for visitors to the clear waters.
