Louisville, Kentucky’s, most famous event is, undoubtedly, the Kentucky Derby, but that hardly means there aren’t other events to love in this southern city throughout the rest of the year. If you’re headed into town in October, here are events to add to your itinerary.
The Big Stomp is a unique festival and the very first music festival in the United States to focus on mental health. Originally christened PeteFest, this year The Big Stomp takes place Oct. 14–15 and features multiple genres of music, as well as lots of mental health-related activities and resources.
Through Oct. 31, more than 5,000 artistically carved and arranged pumpkins light up the night during the Louisville Jack O’Lantern Spectacular. The family-friendly, can’t-miss event is sure to put you in a (delightfully) spooky mood.
Another pumpkin-themed experience, new for 2022, Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom takes over the local-favorite amusement park with more than 1,000 pumpkins in an array of sculptures. Visit for fall photo ops every weekend in October and stick around for theme park fun.

Dec 11, 2024Travel Brand Helps Score Discount NFL Tickets with Hotel Stays
The NFL’s popularity is ever-growing, with last year’s Super Bowl the most-watched television program of all time. With the increasing popularity, of course the cost of tickets to attend a game in person has also risen, and will likely continue to do so.
