Hiking along the Jurassic Coast is hungry work, and luckily there are loads of great spots where you can enjoy a hearty meal. Read on to find out more about these great restaurants.
HIX Oyster & Fish House, Lyme Regis
A stylish restaurant run by famous chef Mark Hix, you can enjoy a huge variety of dishes in an amazing cabin setting. It’s the kind of place you might bump into a minor celebrity on a weekend trip from London.
This place is run by a chef of Sri Lankan descent who has a real thing for French cuisine. Combine that with the great local seafood and you’ve got an interesting proposition for a restaurant. Go for the three-course set menu, a bargain at $33.
The Hive Beach Café, Burton Bradstock
A traditional beach café looking over Chesil bank, this place is known for its amazing seafood. The menu changes each day depending on what local fisherman catch, so you know it’s going to be fresh.
The Bull Hotel, Bridport
Housed inside a Grade II-listed building, this former coaching inn is home to 19 rooms in addition to a restaurant. If it’s a nice day, try and sit out in the courtyard.
