Pennsylvania has some of the nation’s biggest and best fairs. The fairs can encompass a large amount of space and include tons of rides. Fairs are where memories can made. Enjoy award-winning pies and the best fried Oreos around. These experiences are ones that can take a boring evening and make it unforgettable. Summer is winding down, but the fairs continue into the fall ,so get out and visit a fair before the cold winter comes.
An upcoming fair is the Bloomsburg Fair. Taking place this September, it draws in crowds of 400,000 each year. This will be the 163rd annual fair. Located in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. the fair will include country music acts such as Cole Swindell and Brett Eldridge. There will also be numerous rides throughout and animal exhibits along the way. There’s truly something for everyone with so many vendors and attractions. Tickets can be purchased on the website and they sell for eight tickets for $48. The tickets are good for a single-day admission.
Also in September is the Ephrata Fair. This is the largest street fair in Pennsylvania and has been part of the local history since 1919. The fair is located in Tome Grater Memorial Park, focused on the agricultural side of fairs. It’s further from the city, so most of the surrounding area is dedicated to agriculture as well. Visitors will love getting up close and personal with the animals being shown. They’ll also be able to learn new things from local farmers and educators.
