Frequent cyclists understand the dilemma of choosing the right bicycle lock — so few combine style and safety and most cyclists end up sacrificing one for the other.

 

Instead of compromising, try the TiGr lock. This elegantly crafted, titanium bike lock is a worthy investment for you bike. It is one of the few self-storing, high-security locks on the market.

 

After a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2011, Bob, John and Jim Loughlin, of the family- owned and -operated Stanton Concepts, LLC, brought TiGr Lock to the market. They far surpassed their $37,500 goal and raised $108,000.

 

 

TiGr locks include a stainless steel locking cylinder and a titanium bow. These pieces are conveniently stored on the top tube of your bike. TiGr locks come in three lengths — long, standard and mini — to accommodate all bike models.

 

Each lock comes with set of two keys and a metal tag stamped with key code information. Each code is unique to the lock and is required for replacing lost keys. Keep your tag in a safe place and register your lock online for extra security.

 

Locks range from $159–199 on the company’s website. While these prices outweigh most U-lock options, the elegant design and high-quality materials make TiGr locks a smart investment.
