Blue’s Egg is one of the most popular breakfast and brunch restaurants in Milwaukee and enjoying a meal here it’s easy to see why. The enormous menu, generous portions, friendly atmosphere and delicious food make it a must for visitors to Wisconsin’s most famous city.
Upon arriving at Blue’s Egg it was immediately apparent we were in for a treat. The line was practically out the door and we were alsi in for a wait. Luckily, it didn’t take more than 15 minutes to get seated. It did, however, take us quite awhile to browse the menu. Between the vast array of Benedicts and “browns” it was difficult to make a choice. I opted for the Dubliner eggs Benedict at our server’s suggestion, and have no regrets. I might have also nicked a bite or two of my friend’s stuffed browns with goat cheese.
One of the greatest things about Blue’s Eggs is its entire menu is affordable, and worth every penny. While we admittedly felt rushed in order to make room for other diners that was in no way the fault of the stay. They were warm and welcoming from beginning to end. I noticed they switched to burgers, salads and sandwiches near lunchtime and look forward to returning to sample those as soon as I can.
I would definitely recommend Blue’s Egg to anyone looking for an incredible breakfast in Milwaukee.
