The Glen House, in New Hampshire’s White Mountain National Forest, offers stunning views of Mount Washington and a variety of summer adventures. The 68-room boutique hotel features a bar and lounge with a wall of mountain-view windows, a gym, indoor saltwater pool and a firepit on the outdoor patio.
This summer, the hotel introduced the All-Adventure package, which includes a comfortable stay in the Presidential Range and outdoor adventures at Great Glen Trails. The adventures include a two-hour guided Auto Road trip for two; a half-day wildlife or sunset guided kayak tour for two; and a four-hour bike rental for two. Guests who book the package also receive a $30 daily credit toward breakfast at The Notch Grill.
With its proximity to Mount Washington Auto Road, which leads to the highest peak in the Northeast, guests can take advantage of unbeatable views during their Auto Road Trip tour. Guests will also kayak on the flat waters of nearby Androscoggin River and maybe spot species like moose, eagles, osprey and other animals native to New Hampshire. During the bike ride, explore 28 miles of trails offering terrain ranging from easy to moderate. Guests can choose between hybrids, mountain bikes and fat bikes.
