Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey, is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary. The property recently announced a $55 million redesign and rebrand of The Water Club. Renamed MGM Tower, the new offerings will include more than 700 reimagined guestrooms, plus new luxury Vista Suites at the tower’s corners with views of the Atlantic City skyline.
“Introducing the MGM Tower connects Borgata with the unparalleled entertainment and resort experiences MGM Resorts is recognized for worldwide. We are incredibly proud of Borgata and its industry-leading team of employees, and we believe this significant reinvestment will drive visitation to Atlantic City well into the future,” said Corey Sanders, COO, MGM Resorts International.
The redesign covers all aspects of the guest experience, starting with a dedicated valet and check-in area. Guestrooms and suites will boast nautical design elements with a palette of neutral and blue tones plus deep wood accents. The new Vista Suites will feature a large living space, private bedroom, two bathrooms and spacious dining area. The entire room remodel and suite debut is expected to be completed by Memorial Day weekend.
“As we approach the resort’s 20th anniversary, we are more committed than ever to remaining a leader in hospitality and entertainment by continuing to evolve the Borgata experience,” said Travis Lunn, president and COO, Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “We look forward to sharing our new vision with Borgata’s incredible guests in the coming months.”
