This fall, sample some of America’s top craft beers while enjoying the beauty of Wisconsin’s Lake Michigan at the annual Blue Harbor Craft Beer Festival, taking place Sept. 25–26 at Wisconsin’s No. 1 lakefront resort in scenic Sheboygan.
Craft beer enthusiasts will have the chance to sample a number of traditional and tasty brews, ranging from barrel-aged concoctions to fall favorites like Octoberfest, chocolate porters, Sasquatch Sweet Potato and coffee beers.
“We are proud to showcase Sheboygan, Wisc., as a major destination for craft beers, and excited that attendees can experience such a broad collection of some of the best tastes in the industry,” said James Owen, co-founder, 3 Sheeps Brewing Company and event co-sponsor.
The festival features an exciting, action-packed line-up this year, kicking off with the Best of Wisconsin beer dinner and pairing on Friday night. Guests are able to connect with 3 Sheeps Brewery leaders, Chef Jason Richardson and fellow craft beer lovers during a four-course dinner paired with some of the best craft brews in the area. Tickets cost $50 per person, plus tax and tip.
The beer fun continues on Saturday with a VIP event experience from 11:30 a.m.–4 p.m., when guests can meet the brewers and preview exclusive beers with culinary pairings and small plates designed by the culinary teams at Johnsonville and Blue Harbor Resort. Included in the VIP price of $75 per ticket is early entry into the Grand Craft Beer Tasting and a special VIP room.
The main tasting event, taking place 1–4 p.m., features more than 100 beers from more than 30 breweries as well as music and food. Tickets are $39 each and can be purchased at xorbia.com.
To celebrate the event, Blue Harbor Resort is offering special accommodation deals. If booked by Sept. 15, guests can receive overnight accommodations and two Craft Beer Tasting tickets for rates starting from only $109 per person.
Also taking place in conjunction with the Blue Harbor Craft Beer Festival is the Sheboygan Squared Riverfront Harvest Festival, including a half marathon and activities for all ages.
