C2’s Performance Tights are the ideal garment for outdoor activity during wet or cold weather. They’re fairly thick, with an extremely soft and comfortable interior that is simply delightful to wear.

At first glance, they seem as though the fabric weight might make the wearer overheat during high activity, but a test while running in the rain, even on a 60-degree day, shows they breathe well and don’t retain any moisture, either from your own sweat or from the precipitation, thanks to Polartec technology.

The comfort of this garment can’t be emphasized enough: it’s so soft, you’ll hardly want to take it off. The breathability is impressive, too; even worn inside a heavy down sleeping bag on an evening that wasn’t cold, the tights didn’t overheat.

The performance tights also make a great base layer. They hug close to the skin but don’t cut off circulation, and they’re thick enough that they do well in colder temperatures under other clothing. You’ll want to wear these if you’re biking, skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing, but they can also stay in your drawer for warmer days, too. They have small reflective patches for those dark days, as well. Like all C2 clothing, the tights are made in the United States.
