The stadium’s legendary status as the home of the FC Barcelona football team makes it a mecca for soccer fans all over the world. Camp Nou seats nearly 100,000 screaming fans, and seats, although bordering on expensive, are worth every euro.
Even if you’re not a soccer fan, the sheer atmosphere and volume of the stadium will rile you with energy and have you learning Barcelona’s chants in no time.
When FCB isn’t taking the field, Camp Nou turns into an essential shrine to the world’ most popular sport. The stadium and complex feature a museum and gallery that pays homage to the greats of the sport that have stepped onto its field. Tickets are available for €23 and include a tour of the facility and visits to the museum and gift shop. Snap a photo with one of the club’s Champions League trophies or with a cardboard cutout display of the team.
The tour will also take you through the press room, the visitor’s dressing room and the player’s tunnel through which the team members pass before every match. If you’re still not satisfied with FCB mania, step into the Messi zone where you can view player Lionel Messi’s golden boots and other trophies.
