Planning to hike a creek in a slot canyon? Attempting to photograph while you snorkel? Hoping to use your phone to its fullest despite inclement weather?

The E-Case Waterproof iPhone Case allows you to do all of that — and more. This Seattle-made product gives you full usage of your mobile device, from using apps to taking photos, and even the use of speakers and microphone, despite being sheltered from the elements in a sturdy case.

The case is designed like a folder, so it’s not limited to a specific iPhone edition — you won’t have to buy a new case every time you upgrade your phone.

Each case is individually tested in one meter of water for 30 minutes. The Ziplock-type closure system is fairly easy to manage, just double-check you’ve sealed it before dunking it in water. The case is also PVC-free, meaning it is designed for ultimate cold weather pliability; the case won’t stiffen when the temperature drops. The windows on the case are also UV-resistant.

The E-Case features “lash points” at either end so you can fashion straps or hooks to secure it to your clothing or gear.

What’s truly great about this item is that you need not worry about locking your phone away in an unwieldy case. Just slip the entire thing — case and all — into this “folder” for the times when you want extra protection for your phone.

The product comes in black, Midnight Blue, Cool Gray, Olive, Mandarin Red and Cosmic Purple. E-Case also sells an array of similar products for other items, like iPods, iPads, e-readers, tablets and more. There’s also a line of multipurpose cases for use with whatever else you need to protect: keys, wallets, cameras, game systems and other mobile devices.
