Traveling to or around San Jose, California, this month? The city has plenty of ways for you to celebrate the Christmas holiday, with the city and several organizations banding together to launch A Very San José Holiday. The initiative aims to bring attention to the area’s wealth of holiday fun.
Some of the standout attractions? Through Jan. 1, enjoy Downtown Winter Wonderland with its winter gift market and rides (including a 60-foot Ferris wheel) in downtown San Jose; Christmas in the Park, with its nightly entertainment and 40-plus animated displays in Plaza de Cesar Chavez; and Downtown Ice, a long-standing annual ice-skating experience in Circle of Palms Plaza. (You also still have time to catch The San José Nutcracker at California Theatre, with shows occurring through Dec. 23.)
