If you’re headed to Daytona Beach, check out the new Daytona Beach Mural Trail, which currently includes 18 murals with plans to expand over time. The murals are scattered from downtown to the beach and beyond, with subjects ranging from marine life to patriotic scenes to mythical creatures to favorite movie characters. Following the trail will take visitors to favorite restaurants, shops and attractions.

That said, Daytona Beach offers more trails to follow if you’re not a fan of street art.
If you prefer statues and historic monuments to colorful paintings, you might want to try Daytona Beach Monument & Statue Trail, which includes more than a dozen statues and monuments, from military tributes to statues of famous faces to more whimsical sculptures, like the dinosaur statues at Dunlawton Sugar Mill Gardens.
The Daytona Beach African American Heritage Trail recognizes prominent Black Daytona Beach residents and visitors, such as Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, a daughter of former slaves who became a civil rights leader and presidential advisor, and baseball star Jackie Robinson. The trail also includes the Smithsonian-affiliated Museum of Arts & Sciences.
To cap off your day of Daytona Beach explorations, though, you’ll want to check out the Daytona Beach Ale Trail, with its 22 microbreweries and 10 taprooms.
